Sinéad O’Connor – The Wolf is Getting Married

Sinéad O’Connor was born in Glenageary in the County of Dublin.  She rose to fame in the late 1980s with her debut album “The Lion and the Cobra”.  O’Connor achieved worldwide success in 1990 with a cover of the song “Nothing Compares 2 U”.  She is back with a new album that was released February 21, 2012 called “How About I Be Me (And You Be You)”.  The first release off the album is called “The Wolf is Getting Married” and it is the song of the week.  It is surprisingly upbeat for  Sinéad

The album is quite good, probably the best in a long time.  Also check out:

On a sad note Seventies star James T. Ellis, lead singer on The Trammps’ smash hit Disco Inferno, has died aged 74.  If you were like me you probably hated disco back then but when I listen to this song now it makes me smile…and of course want to dance.

Sorry I forgot to post yesterday…it slipped my mind.
